Elijah  

Elijah's  name means "Yahweh is God," He  was a prophet or God's messenger in Israel in the 9th century BC. 

He is best known for being Israels's most famous prophet, his brave challenge to Baal's prophets on Mt. Carmel, and going up to heaven in a whirlwind.
